Drew's goal with the supra was to build what represents to him a modernization of the legendary Supra. He wanted all the niceties of a new car, but didn't like any of the modern cars for his daily driver. This supra represents his attention to detail in an endeavor to build a car he would love to drive every day.
In 1994 when it debuted the Supra put up performance numbers that decimated the competition at the time and run with best of breed even now. Or as Drew put it, "I felt this allowed me to make a slew of minor improvements that could lead to something much greater", and it appears Drew was right.
Recent developments in damper's allowed drew to achieve 1.2Gs on the skidpad with a car that tested just short of 1.0 from the factory with no compromises in ride comfort. But it didn't stop there, next a comfortable and classy interior that brings the Supra almost into exotic territory, yet still usable as an every day car. Horsepower has been increased to 420bhp while still allowing the car to pass California's strict emission standards.
Drop dead gorgeous looks, a clean tailpipe, excellent power band, superb handling, great ride comfort and a budget price tag. Drew believes these are the goals of any automotive engineer and set out to flaunt just how good the Supra is by achieving them in spades, without pushing any one to the extreme that the others would be lost.
