I purchased the bike from a friend who was getting married (RIP).
Repainted custom, custom revalved front forks, ohlins damper at the rear. 6 piston brake calipers front. Kevlar lines for clutch and brakes, TRE, galfer pads and floating roaters, Yoshimura exhaust. BMC Air filter
I have been to the Drag strip once and ran 11.1 @ 127.98 on my second run with no prep and street tire pressures and the bike definately has more potential then my skill allowed for.
Drew's famous quote about "tucking" (a technique for high speed motorcycle riding):
"When I tuck I go so far down I cannot see the road except far enough out to where the headlights dont really illuminate. The base of the windscreen is right about at eye level. I have to loosen my helmet and roll my eyes to maximum upward angle before they have to look through my skull to see ahead. Then my vision is blurred severely by the engine vibrations as my helmet is on the gas tank. My knees and eblows are touching eachother. 100% of my body is behind the plastics. It requires intense focus, a height under 5'9" and some abnormal flexibility but by this method I have achieved besting magazine times by quite some margin on every bike I ever owned. I bested the middle tier magazine times on my TLR on my second ever pass. I stretch prior and can sustain this position for 20-30 seconds maximum."
